Receptionist/Office Administrator

Join GB Manchester’s dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our office operates seamlessly. We are seeking an experienced receptionist who will be the first point of contact for our clients and set the tone for their experience with our company.

Position Overview: As our receptionist, you will provide essential administrative support across our organization. Your responsibilities will include answering and redirecting phone calls, welcoming and assisting office visitors, and supporting various administrative and operational tasks. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a warm and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to have fun at work.
  • Answer and redirect phone calls efficiently.
  • Greet clients and visitors warmly, answering their questions and directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including service billings, collections, and purchasing.
  • Support office and field technicians as needed.
  • Create newsletters and assist in planning company events.
  • Arrange travel plans for training and job assignments.
  • Provide superior customer service to all clients and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in operating office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and printers.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Positive demeanor, professional appearance, and attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to assist others.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High school diploma required.
